Finance minister defends new budget to MPs, citing war in Ukraine and foreign inflation: Finance Minister Mohamed Maait told MPs in a plenary session on Sunday that the drafting of Egypt's FY 202223 budget was prepared amid very exceptional circumstances, including foreign inflation brought about by the war in Ukraine.
